Memories in brown

Inspired by the webisode of Karen Elaine Thomas in the lounge, this was the first accordoen book I amde after watching the video. Since I have made several of them in different sizes and color. but so far this one is my favorite due to the combination of my two favorite colors: brown and dark green. Besides, I never thougth that squares and stripes would look so good together .The album is inside the box.
The cover is stamped with a butterfly and painted with regular crayon. The script in the front was handwrited.Inside the album: coordinated paper with stripe, dots, squares etc.A blue ribbon used to close and embelish the album.

Cuddly baby

I am bringing a small album that I made way back and did not like. I still do not like it at all but I will post it anyway. I was inspired by a webisode of the scraplounge which name does not come to mind right now.
In fact I like the cover. Combinations of two different papers with the ribbon. The word "girl" was cut into foam on my cuttlebug. But the part I did not like was the pages I inserted. I think I went over my head and inserted more pages then I thought would fit.
I could have removed them but if there is something I don't like doing is undo and redo. Grrr!. I might start something with a clear idea in my head and change it on the way. But as soon as it is done...well it is done. No change...no sir, not for me. I prefer to start a new project all over from step one but won't waist time in redoing anything.
The back cover is as simple as the front.

Tags for boys

One of my favorite embellishment are tags. I have them in all size and forms. I buy them by the dozen, make them on my Cuttlebug machine or with my Cricut. So it was just a matter of time that I came up with a mini album tag which I did a while back.

The front and back cover are done with colored chipboard. I distressed the edges with a darker color to hide any imperfection. Inside pages were cut in the Cricut and the circle made with a punch.

There are a lot pages but I am just gonna show a few. They are embellished with more tags, stickers, rub-ons, brads ribbon etc...For the back cover I used a vellum paper on which I stamped the baby carriage and watercolored it. Small enveloppe is attached with a delivery sticker. Sayonara!!!

For a baby boy

When I did this album a while back, I thought it would be some kind of trouble to cover the board due to the shape. But to my surprise it was as easy as covering a square or a rectangle chipboard.
The closure is a ribbon I passed throughthe front and the cover to be able to make a knot and secure the book
Few inside pages
